If so, we are looking for a quality minded team member to join our fabrication team as a press brake operator and invite you to apply! 3rd shift hours will be 7:30 pm – 6:00 am Mon-Thu. Will train on 1st shift for approximately one month prior to moving to the 3rd shift operation. Our press brake operators start at $17.25/hour (plus an additional $1/hour shift premium for 3rd shift). Employees who are meeting or exceeding performance expectations will be eligible for wage increases at 2, 6, and 12 months, with the opportunity to earn $19.40/hour (plus an additional $1/hour for 3rd shift) after 12 months of solid performance!

This position demands an understanding of the basic operation of a press brake, the mechanical properties of metals, inspection of parts prior to releasing to finished container and blue print reading in the performance of the following tasks: Operate press brake while using the safety features of the machine correctly; validate first and last pieces through blueprints, completing all quality documentation required (SPC, 1st article, etc.); identify and record parts produced; basic maintenance of machine and tooling, including following all preventative maintenance; assist in maintaining Kanban bin system to Weld, PEM, and; material handling as required; compliance with PPE, 5S, all safety rules, standard work guidelines, process instructions and print specifications.

Requires HS graduate or equivalent. Solid work history with related fabrication or press brake experience desired. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to exhibit good judgment related to safety, quality, cost and delivery of parts, processes and product. Must possess fork truck operation experience and/or certification or have a willingness to learn and be trained on this equipment. Ability to read/use or be trained on the use of blueprints, gauges, basic hand tools, calculators, standard work instructions, process instructions, material safety data sheets, production schedules, preventative maintenance documents, equipment control panels, etc., as required by job or supervisor.
